What is Aerobic Gymnastics?
Aerobic gymnastics is a high-energy sport that combines strength, flexibility and endurance with music and choreography. Routines emphasise continuous movement and precision, while incorporating gymnastics skills and acrobatic elements such as jumps, balances and dynamic transitions. It’s fast-paced, athletic and artistic, challenging both the body and the mind, and building confidence, fitness and performance skills in a really fun way.


Our Story
Intensity opened in 2006 from a shared passion for aerobic gymnastics and a dream to inspire the next generation. Founders Cassie and Jodi both held a deep love for the sport, and with two keen daughters by their side, they set out on a journey that would shape not only athletes, but lives. What began as a small club quickly grew into a close-knit community.

At Intensity, we’re proud to have a team of five amazing coaches who each bring their own passion, experience and energy to the gym. Together, they create a supportive and motivating environment where athletes are challenged, encouraged and inspired to be their best. Each coach plays a vital role in our community, and we’re excited to introduce the people who help make Intensity such a special place.

Affiliation
Intensity is proudly affiliated with Gymnastics Australia and Gymnastics Queensland, ensuring our programs meet the highest standards of safety, coaching and athlete development. This affiliation provides our athletes with recognised pathways, quality coaching and opportunities to participate in accredited competitions and events. We are also a registered Queensland Government FairPlay activity provider, allowing families to use FairPlay vouchers to help reduce the cost of participation and make our programs more accessible to the community.

Aerofun
Recreation fun for Preps! Learn the basics of aerobic gymnastics through creating fun routines and learning basic acrobatic and gymnastic skills.

Beginner Aero
The next step in your aerobic gymnastics. Learn the fundamentals of aerobic gymnastics through creating fun routines and learning fundamental acrobatic and gymnastic skills.

Level 3-6
Competition classes focusing on development of current skills. Must have prior experience in Aerobic Gymnastics. Each competition level increases in difficulty. Strictly competition athletes only.

Level 7-10
Advanced competition classes, athletes must have previous competition experience. Specific skills required. Must have prior experience in Aerobic Gymnastics. Strictly competition athletes only.

Aerodance
A combination of Aerobic Gymnastics and another style of dance. *Selected athletes only*.

Privates
Privates upon arrangment only, and prices differ based on coach experience.
